Representation of SU (∞) Algebra for Matrix Models

We investigate how the matrix representation of SU(N) algebra approaches that of the Poisson algebra in the large N limit. In the adjoint representation, the (N2 − 1)× (N2 − 1) matrices of the SU(N) generators go to those of the Poisson algebra in the large N limit. However, it is not the case for the N × N matrices in the fundamental representation.

0 Matrix Models : Fermion Doubling vs . Anomaly ⋆

We present some arguments showing spectrum doubling of matrix models in the limit N → ∞ which is connected with fermionic determinant behaviour. The problems are similar to ones encountered in the lattice gauge theories with chiral fermions. One may discuss the “physical meaning” of the doubling states or ways to eliminate them. We briefly consider both situations.

Bernoulli matrix approach for matrix differential models of first-order

The current paper contributes a novel framework for solving a class of linear matrix differential equations. To do so, the operational matrix of the derivative based on the shifted Bernoulli polynomials together with the collocation method are exploited to reduce the main problem to system of linear matrix equations. An error estimation of presented method is provided. Numerical experiments are...

Network transitivity and matrix models.

This paper is a step towards a systematic theory of the transitivity (clustering) phenomenon in random networks. A static framework is used, with adjacency matrix playing the role of the dynamical variable. Hence, our model is a matrix model, where matrices are random, but their elements take values 0 and 1 only. Confusion present in some papers where earlier attempts to incorporate transitivit...

Dynamic Network Evolution: Models, Clustering, Anomaly Detection

Traditionally, research on graph theory focused on studying graphs that are static. However, almost all real networks are dynamic in nature and large in size. Quite recently, research areas for studying the topology, evolution, applications of complex evolving networks and processes occurring in them and governing them attracted attention from researchers. In this work, we review the significan...
